About me

Daniel Kfouri was born in February of 1975 in São Paulo, Brazil.

Worked as a graphic artist for 5 years before becoming a photographer in 2001.

Thenceforth, he has been working as a freelance for several Brazilian magazines. During two years was a photojournalist for the newspaper, Folha de São Paulo, the biggest one in Brazil. Has covered news events for France Presse, Associated Press and Getty Images.

Lately, has been developing personal long and medium-terms socially-conscious projects, always aware of improving his own photographic language.

Was a participant in some collective exposition in São Paulo and in the year of 2007 was one of the thirteen brazilian photographers chosen to be part of the 'Fototeca de Havana' photo exposition in Cuba.

Has worked for Nike Brasil as well as Nike global since 2 years.

In 2010, won the World Press Photo Award, third place in Sports Action singles.
